Interview with the Alvi Brothers
The majority of the knowledge I gleaned about Brain I gained from this video. It covers a lot of the topics that I felt were relevant. for instance,

The Alvi Brothers wrote the code in the mid-eighties, and it spread around the globe in less than a year
It was originally a marketing tactic in order to let people know they had pirated software on their device
They did not think it would get as far as it did
They regret writing the virus

Official FBI article on the Morris worm
This was incredibly useful. It surprised me that an article like this existed and was available to the pubilc (or that the FBI actually wrote public articles), but its a government website and the article was chock full of information. such as:

The Morris worm was written by a Robert Tappan Morris
It was never designed to cause damage or outages, but due to the hardware intensity of it and the fact that it spread from computer to computer on the network, it caused damage and outages
Robert Morris was supposed to go to jail, but settled for 400 hours of community service
Morris was the first computer worm
Apparently, Robert Morris tried to get one of his friends to apologize for him through email, but the email didnt reach anyone because his worm caused major outages and network slowdowns.
